Habitat: coniferous woodland

Coniferous woodland turned out to be a habitat which didn't support any species. The low levels of biodiversity could perhaps be due to the fact that there is little greenery below the canopy due to not much light that filters down so few animals, birds or insects can successfully inhabit the area. Day 1 , around the Derwent reservoir, and Day 3, around Torside and Rhodeswood reservoir was where we observed this habitat.
